After two years, PURPOSE makes a return to the Fellowship at the 2022 Ironman 70.3 Desaru Coast
It has been 2 years since the Ironman 70.3 Desaru Coast event was scheduled to take place, and many had hoped that the race would finally happen this year. Although indeed, the turnout was lesser than the total number registered to compete, the event was nonetheless a success for PURPOSE.
With many participants and racers wearing our kits, this is perhaps a sign of how the brand has remained strong on everyone’s mind even through the pandemic.
For the event, we partnered with BigBigPlace who will be our official distributor and retailer. Together, both brands were present in the expo area where participants could see PURPOSE kits first-hand.
The days leading to the race also had athletes specially chosen to represent the PURPOSE on their social media accounts to help raise awareness and visibility of our PURPOSE brand and products.
After the event, and the encouraging response by visitors and participants, we are confident that our brand will continue to grow in the years to come as we work hard to help athletes achieve their best race experience possible.
This first event in Desaru also saw many women in their PURPOSE modest performance tri suits competing in the distance races. Many had commented on the comfortable fit of their suits and that it allowed them to perform their best even on a hot day like the day of the race. We are now I purer to us to expand the range even further.
As always, we had a photographer on the ground to capture the athletic moments from every #teampurpose athlete during the race to provide a good memory – something we’re always proud to do.
