Made of PURPOSE: Thomas Greene, elite Singapore runner, joins Team PURPOSE

Just two weeks ago, Thomas Greene just ran a new 10km personal best with a time of 33 minutes and 15 seconds – possibly the fastest 10km set on Singapore soil by a Singaporean/Permanent Resident/expat in numerous years.

This is just one of the many fast times that the 37-year-old Scot and father of three young kids – who has been based in Singapore for the last eight years and works for an international law firm – has been setting.

He has also snagged multiple podium finishes at races such as the Sundown Marathon, Marina Run Half Marathon, Mizuno Ekiden and Green Corridor Run.

Today, Thomas adds to our growing PURPOSE family with his expertise and experience in the competitive running scene.

Started running at the age of five back, he found a passion for running with Fife Athletic Club, a well-established athletics club in Scotland, and has run with and for them, as well as for Scotland, throughout his life as an athlete.

He was also a keen sportsman playing multiple sports at international, regional and county level for football, cricket and squash.

“I am happy to join PURPOSE because of its products and people,” said Thomas. “PURPOSE started as a local business and is going global, thus I’m really excited to be on this journey with them.

I’m so passionate about grassroots running and Singapore is my home so it is an ideal collaboration.”

With this partnership, Thomas hopes to spread the word in the running community locally and across the globe through his racing, training and coaching networks. “I want to be a voice for PURPOSE and that’s pretty easy when you believe in the product and ethos of the brand.”
