Zach Bitter World Record Holder
An American ultra-marathoner, Zach Bitter currently holds the world records for the 100-mile and 12-hours run (track) as well as the 100-mile and 12-hour indoor run (treadmill). This 4-time world record holder recently set the 100-mile Indoor World Record with a time of 12 hours 9 minutes and 5 seconds - over 20 minutes faster than the previous record and also the 12-hours Indoor World Record with a distance of 98.64 miles (158.7 km).
For the indoor world records, Zach did it wearing the PURPOSE Elite Racing singlet with HYPERMESH™ ELT and the PURPOSE 5" running shorts. What is surprising is that he went all 12 hours running indoors on the treadmill without having to change kits. If comfort was a factor in a world-record beating attempt such as this, the PURPOSE racing top and shorts certainly met the criteria.
Besides ultra-running, Zach is a high-performance athletic coach where he coaches people, from beginner to advance, achieve their endurance goals. On social media, he runs podcasts, youtube videos and blogs where he shares insight and knowledge on endurance and ultra-running.
Made of HYPERMESH™ ELT
It's like nothing at all. Constructed of the lightest, fastest-drying technical fabric, the HYPERMESH™ ELT excels in the hot and humid weather. Originally developed for training and racing in Southeast Asia, it is twice as light compared to competitor running kits from Europe or Australia in the same category. Made with an ultra-thin piece of 86% polyamide and 14% elastane fabric this running top is extremely breathable and airy.
