5 reasons why you should wear PURPOSE
1- Our products are designed and developed specifically for our climate.
The heat and humidity in this part of the world, in our Southeast Asian region, is no joke. With humidity levels that can hit 80% and upwards, it is very important for us to try and keep ourselves as cool as possible when working out in this kind of tropical climate.
When the temperature and humidity levels are high, what happens is evaporative cooling gets restricted and this means the body core temperature may rise and that may affect performance or risk overheating of the body.
Hence, our advanced fabric technology HYPERMESH™ is designed to help you beat the heat. At just 200 grams for a full one-piece trisuit, it gives the highest air-flowthrough to regulate your core temperature.
Unlike other kits made of a single, one dimensional fabric, HYPERMESH™ is made of multiple advanced fabrics, layered over different parts. Delivering functionality targeted at different areas, this provides the best breathability, air flow-through and comfort.
Made up of different grades of polyamide, elastane and nylons, HYPERMESH™ makes PURPOSE one of, if not the best heat dissipation capability in a trisuit, cycling jersey or running kit.
2. Our products are unisex.
Unless stated that it is for women only, most of our products are made unisex. Both men and women can wear all the designs and colours – no one is left out!
3. Our products have been tested and proven
with world records and world championship titles.
Ironman World Championship age group world record holder Dr Dan Plews and 12 Hours Treadmill World Record holder Zach Bitter are just two of the many outstanding athletes who have worn PURPOSE and achieved great things in our kits.
In 2018, Dr Dan Plews won the Ironman World Championship as the overall age group winner with a course record of 8 hours 24 minutes and 36 seconds – wearing our PURPOSE PRO trisuit.
Prior to the race, Dr Plews was doing his research online for a ‘cool’ race suit for hot conditions. “I found out about PURPOSE because I was looking for a suit for Kona.
I love the suit because it’s comfortable and most of all, cool. It dissipates the heat really well and keeping cool during hot endurance races is really important,” the British-born New Zealand-based Dr Plews said.
The PURPOSE PRO trisuit that Dr Plews spoke highly about features our proprietary innovation – the HYPERMESH™ PRO advanced fabric technology.
Made of fabric and materials sourced from Korea and Europe, the PRO trisuits are built of 79% polyamide/21% elastane with a weave pattern.
This gives the trisuit the highest air-flowthrough in any trisuit ever, adding the advantage of regulating the core temperature in extreme heat.
The mix of polyamide and elastane mesh makes the threads and weaves strong and sturdy, yet lightweight enough to be comfortable in hot and humid conditions.
Then during the virus epidemic in 2020 where people were locked down and confined to their homes, many were forced to keep their training indoors. This was when Zach decided to attempt the 100 Miles (160km) Treadmill World Record.
Wearing the PURPOSE Elite Racing running top and shorts, the American extreme endurance runner added two more world record achievements to his name on 16 May 2020.
He broke the 100 Miles Treadmill World Record with a time of 12 hours 9 minutes and 5 seconds (over 20 minutes faster than the previous record) and also the 12 Hours Treadmill World Record with a distance of 98.64 miles (158.7 km) at an average pace of an incredible 7:18 per mile (4:32 per km).
Throughout the entire duration of the record-breaking run, Zach wore the PURPOSE Elite Racing running top and shorts. “I wore the same kit the entire day; PURPOSE makes it easy to do so.
The singlet I had on is light and feels soft, so I hardly know it is there. The shorts are also light and don’t catch on my legs while running, and I love to be able to use my own liner and not feel like there is something bulky pulled over it,” Zach said.
The PURPOSE Elite Racing running top and shorts that Zach is made of HYPERMESH™ ELT advanced fabric technology. The HYPERMESH™ ELT is constructed of multiple types technical fabric with 80% polyamide/20% elastane made with multiple mesh fabric in the one top.
This fabric is chosen for its comfort in hot and humid weather, being twice as light compared to its competitors from Europe or Australia in the same category.
The fabric lightness is augmented with its weaved-in mesh bubbles throughout the entire fabric swatch, making the top extremely breathable and airy.

MUSLIMAH RANGE

Our latest cycling jerseys from the 20/21 collection are all fully reflective. Even a small light source, eg. from a mobile phone, will be able to light you up so that you will be visible, to keep you safe on the roads!
5. #SupportLocal
This is a brand created in Singapore by a Singaporean – our founder Noor Ashikin Aziz, who wanted to build the first truly global sportswear brand from Southeast Asia.
He was getting into the sport of duathlons and triathlons, and was searching for trisuits and cycling kits that would help him stay cool in the heat. Unable to find any, he decided to make his own. And that was how PURPOSE was born.
In three years, we have expanded to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States and the Middle East.
And this is only the beginning.
